Tried the chocolate frosted donuts, not a bad donut but definitely more donut than topping. Found that the breading itself overpowered the chocolate. Staff was welcoming and the restaurant was very clean.

One of the best glazed donuts that I've had. I picked up some bread pudding today and will try many of their other options next time. I live in Richmond so I always try to stop by the bakery when I'm in town to take some home.

Ordered 9 cookies. These cookies have been sitting out in the glass case for God knows long. They're cold, and hard as rocks, and STALE! I know the ladies are a little old but if you're selling fresh goods at a bakery that you own get tf outta the business. NEVER again.

Gross. Yeah the donuts are big but they are tasteless. I got a chocolate frosted donut and I'm pretty sure they forgot to put any chocolate in their "chocolate". It was waxy and flaked off. Hostess makes better donuts than these and their wax chocolate actually has some flavor in it. Took 2 bites and put it down. Decided to pick it up again and give it another shot. Nope. Just as gross as the first bites. Throwing the rest in the garbage, where they belong.

I looked up the best hot cross buns in Hampton roads and this bakery was recommended. They were heavily spiced and not great, but we did end up really enjoying our other items. We also got a glazed doughnut shaped like a pretzel that was delicious, and I had a black and white cookie. I am currently trying to justify going back just for a black and white cookie, that’s how good it was. It is iced on both sides which I had never seen but it was so incredibly delicious. There were also some tiny pig decorated pastries and petit fours that I look forward to trying. Great small town, family owned atmosphere which is something I really enjoy.
